SAVORR Projects

Presented at Wysing Polyphonic Festival 2nd July 2016

SAVORR discusses the nature of sound – its meaning, its potential, its limits and its history – through a selection of written works that offer diverse responses to a deliberately ambiguous brief. Artists, writers and musicians present their understanding of sound.

The works where exhibited at the annual Wysing music festival, now in it's 7th year, 2016 was the first to be fully acoustic with no backing tracks, laptops, electronics or speakers. The lineup included performances from: Evan Parker, Richard Dawson, David Toop, Adam Christensen, Secluded Bronte with Andy Holden, Paul Purgas and Laura Cannell.
